The Burra Charter (Draft 2013)
The Australia ICOMOS Charter for places of cultural significance (the Burra Charter) is considered the best practice standard for cultural heritage management in Australia. The suggested revisions to the Burra Charter are designed to bring it up-to-date with current practice, to refine some of the language and to make some corrections. Given that the last major review was in 1999, further changes may be initiated in the future.

Use this discussion forum to discuss any of the proposed changes to the Burra Charter or to put forward new ideas for a future review.
